Claudia Ogando
Behavioral Assistant

Claudia is a highly accomplished and compassionate Behavioral Assistant, equipped with a Bachelor's degree in Educational Psychology and a Master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology; she possesses exceptional communication skills that allow her to connect effortlessly with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. With a wealth of experience exceeding 8+ years, Claudia has developed a profound understanding of human behavior and specialized expertise in supporting children and adolescents facing various challenges by applying behavior analysis (ABA) therapy and using positive behavior support. Her unwavering commitment to empowering young minds and fostering positive change has earned her a reputation as a remarkable advocate and mentor in behavioral assistance, positively impacting the lives of numerous individuals and families throughout her career.Claudia's approach to behavioral assistance transcends traditional techniques. She firmly believes that each person's journey is unique, requiring tailored strategies to help them overcome challenges.  Beyond her role in Behavioral Assistance, Claudia actively contributes to the community. She has been involved in organizing workshops for parents and caregivers.


 


Jenifer Arriaga
Behavioral Assistant /Adminstrative Assistant

Jenifer is a Psychology major studying at Union County College. Jenifer is a Behavioral Assistant here at Psychotherapy Solutions, with five years of experience working with children in school settings, she has developed a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of children. She is well-versed in implementing behavioral management techniques and supporting children in overcoming challenges. Jenifer is very dedicated to her work as it allows her to make a positive impact in a child's life, she finds joy in seeing growth and being a part of their progress.

Jenifer is also an Administrative Assistant in the office providing support to ensure the efficient running of office operations. With her excellent communication skills and fluent in English and Spanish she is able to work well in a team and effectively communicate with a broader range of individuals. 


 

Paula Chilet
Behavioral Assistant

Paula graduated in Psychology and Spanish from Kean University. She is currently studying for a master's degree in social work. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Her passion is bringing help and serving the needs of disadvantaged people. She uses different techniques to find healthy perceptions of themselves and improve relationships so they can know themselves and live in peace and tranquility; they can improve in every way. Paula describes herself as easygoing by nature and always uses active listening skills at all times. She speak Spanish, Portuguese, and English fluently.


 
 
 

 
 
 
 

Nelson Hernandez, MS, LPC, ACS is a seasoned Clinical Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor, bringing over three decades of unparalleled experience to the field of Psychotherapy. 

Proficient in both English and Spanish, Nelson has been a dedicated advocate for mental health, providing compassionate and culturally sensitive therapy services. With an extensive background in individual and group therapy, Nelson has successfully guided countless clients through a variety of challenges, demonstrating a deep commitment to fostering emotional well-being and personal growth.

 In addition to his clinical expertise, Nelson is the Executive Director here at Psychotherapy Solutions, where we have spearheaded innovative programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health services within diverse communities. Nelson’s comprehensive approach to mental health, coupled with his fluency in English and Spanish, underscores his dedication to breaking down language barriers and ensuring accessibility to quality mental health care for individuals from all walks of life.
